Tyler Sensley Obituary

Tyler Christopher Sensley “Bettle Juice” was born on December 15, 2002, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to the late Paula Sensley. He was baptized and accepted the Lord at an early age at New Hope Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. James Turner.

Tyler attended Northeast High School, where he proudly earned his high school diploma as a member of the Class of 2022. From a young age, Tyler had a deep passion for sports. He began playing flag football as a child and went on to play football throughout his middle and high school years. He also played basketball for his school and participated in AAU basketball during the summers. His love for athletics reflected his discipline, teamwork, and genuine joy for competition. In addition to sports, Tyler was involved in the school band and played baseball, demonstrating his well-rounded talents and enthusiasm for life.

To know Tyler was to love him. His vibrant spirit, infectious laughter, warm smile, and boundless energy could light up any room. His kindness and genuine heart touched everyone he encountered. Tyler was not only a friend, but a mentor and a source of encouragement and joy to many. His legacy will live on through the countless lives he influenced.

Family meant everything to Tyler. He took great pride in spending time with his nephew, Princeton, often bringing him to football practice and cheering him on during Saturday games. He cherished moments filled with laughter and play with his nephews, nieces, and cousins. Tyler also shared a special bond with his friends, whom he considered a true brotherhood.

Following the passing of their mother in 2016, Tyler was lovingly raised by his sister, Kaylan Sensley, who assumed guardianship. Though he was her youngest brother, Tyler was so much more—he was her baby, her best friend, and her everything. Their bond was inseparable and deeply rooted in love. Even as the baby brother, Tyler made it his mission to ensure Kaylan prioritized her health and well-being, always giving her flowers and appreciation every chance he could. Together, they raised Princeton, forming an unbreakable bond built on love, support, and shared devotion.

Tyler departed this earthly life on December 30, 2025.

As we remember Tyler, we celebrate his passion for life, his unwavering love for his nephew Princeton, and the indelible mark he left on all who knew him.
