A homemaker and longtime resident of Baker, she passed away at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 22, 2016, at her home. Monia was 62 years old and a native of New Orleans. Services will be held at Richardson Funeral Home, 11816 Jackson St., Clinton at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 28, 2016. Interment in Evans Memorial Gardens, Baker. She was survived by two daughters, Ja-Mia Holliday and Lavaris Marlana Holliday; a sister and brother-in law, Lana and James L. Davis; a brother and sister-in-law, Alexander and Marsha J. Evans; two grandsons, Alan Jones and Chase Kinchen; three nephews and two nieces-in-law, Geoffrey Evans, Derrick and Ericka Adams, and Tyrone and Damara Evans; and numerous cousins and friends. Preceded in death by her parents, Martha and James Evans; and a brother, Nathaniel Rivers.
