Elder Broderick D. Brooks, Sr., native of Jackson, LA, entered into eternal rest on Monday, May 23, 2016. He was a 2000 graduate of Jackson High School and continued to support the community as a School Board Member. He was a member of Breath of Life Christian Center and the Overseer of the Praise Team. Recently, he was also ordained as a minister. For the last seven years, he was the Community Outreach and Education Director for RKM Primary Care. He leaves to cherish his memories, a wife, Krischell Williams-Brooks; three children, Kristina, Broderick, Jr. and Kristion; parents, Edward and Queenola Brooks, Sr.; two brothers, Bispop Edward Brooks, Jr. and Pastor Dandridge Brooks, Sr. and a host of family and friends. A musical to celebrate his life will be held at Beachum Grove Baptist Church, Ethel, LA, pastored by Sterling Wrights on Sunday, May 29, 2016 at 6:00 pm. Service will be held at Beachum Grove Baptist Church on Monday, May 30, 2016 at 11:00 am.
