She was a native and resident of Wilson. She departed this life on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at Lane Regional Medical Center in Zachary, LA at the age of 83. She was a retiree of Jackson High School and Dixon Correctional Institute. She is survived by one daughter: Cloretta Doris Matthews; three grandchildren Eric, Milton, and LaKeesha Matthews; one great grandchild; Rodderek Williams; all of Wilson, LA; one sister Ollie Mae Jones, Jackson, LA.
Viewing will be 4-8pm on Friday June 17, 2016 at Richardson Funeral Home of Clinton located at 11816 Jackson Street Clinton, LA 70722. Religious service will be Saturday June 18, 2016 at the funeral home at 11am conducted by Rev. Joseph B. Combs. Interment will be in Galilee
