Timothy Perry, born in New Orleans, LA on August 14, 1949, was a native and resident of Wilson, LA. He passed away on July 1, 2016 at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. Visitation will be held at Richardson Funeral Home in Clinton, LA on Thursday, July 7, 2016 from 5-8 pm and then on Friday, July 8, 2016 from 9-10:30 am until funeral services at Traveler's Rest Baptist Church, 9506 Virginia St., in Wilson, LA at 11 am, conducted by Rev. Perry Wright Jr. He graduated from West High School (Class of 1967) and Louisiana State University. He worked at Exxon for 15 years before transitioning into real estate and cattle farming. He was a licensed Louisiana Notary Public and a member of the Louisiana Notary Association. A Vietnam Era veteran, he proudly served in Germany as a member of the U.S. Army. He was a devoted husband, father, and friend. Tim is survived by his wife Phyllis Walker Perry of 22 years, and sons, Timothy Irving Perry II (Kourtney) and Jason Perry. He was preceded in death by his parents Rev. James Perry and Rhodena Fluker Perry, son James Xavier Perry, and brother Howard James Perry.
