Rev. Talpha Lee Harvey, 58, Anointed Man of God, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday August 15, 2016. A resident of Baker, La. native of Baton Rouge, LA., retired from Louisiana CAT Machinery after 18 years of service. Survived by his wife of 35 years Beulah Harvey, daughter Siobhan (Anthony) Wells, son Ramon Harvey Sr., five grandsons Joshua Harvey-Luter, Jacob Harvey-Luter, Christopher Wells, Isaiah Harvey, and Ramon Harvey Jr., two sisters: Gwendolyn Daniels, Faye (Glenn) Benton, four brothers: John Harris, Eric Arrece Harris Sr., Lionel Harris Sr., Bobby (Jacqueline) Harvey, sister in Law Beverly Harris and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents John and Asia Harvey, sister Linda Jean Harvey, brother Clarence Harris Sr., mother and father in-law Wallace and Eula Thomas, two sister in-laws Patsy Sims, Gladys Harris, four brother in-laws Ernest Thomas, Earl Thomas, Clifford Daigs, Warren Daniels. Visitation celebration will be held on Monday August 22, 2016 at Greater Mount Carmel Baptist Church from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday August 23, 2016 at Word of Life Christian Center Church at 11:00 a.m. with a viewing before services from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Interment will be held at Southern Memorial Gardens.
