"Well done, good and faithful servant". Shirley Mae Davis Holliday left this world peacefully to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 11, 2016 at her residence surrounded by her devoted family. She was 71 years old, a native of Blairstown and resident of Baton Rouge. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and a homemaker. She is survived by her children, Sarah H. James (Larry), Willie J. Holliday, Jr., Wanza H. Bell, Terri H. Vincent (Derek), Sherri H. Harris (Warren) and Linda H. Robinson; and two stepdaughters, Cassandra H. Johnson (Clarence) and Angela Holliday. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 24 from 9 am until religious service at 11 am at New Hope Baptist Church, 1405 Highway 409, Blairstown, LA, conducted by Dr. James M. Turner. Interment will be in New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Richardson Funeral Home.
