Maxine "Sue" R. Williams, 72, returned to her heavenly home on September 27, 2016 after a valiant battle with illness. Her firm belief in Jesus gave her the strength and endurance and ultimately gave her peace. "Sue" was born to the late Doyle and Mattie Mae Robinson, in Ackerman, MS on August 3, 1944. She was immersed in the Christian community that would be her lifelong support from an early age. She was an active member of St. Paul United Methodist Church where she served as a deaconess and formerly an usher. On alternate Sunday's she would attend services at Beachum Grove Baptist Church where she served as a deaconess also. "Sue" was blessed with a large and loving family. She married Alfred Williams on December 19, 1961, in Ethel, LA by Reverend Genie Gant. They reared five children with patience, discipline and humility.
