Leo Barton passed away Friday, May 19, 2017 at his residence in Ethel, LA at the age of 67. Visitation will be Saturday, May 27, 2017 from 9AM until Funeral Services at 11AM at Mt. Hope Baptist Church 9654 Highway 10, Ethel, LA. Interment will be in the church cemetery. He is survived by 3 children, Rebecca Weatherspoon, Tyrone (Monique) Weatherspoon, Avalon Weatherspoon, 7 sisters, Emma Clay, Gladys Barton, Velma Ingram, Barbara Bruton, Gloria Dean Barton, Thelma Barton, Clara Carpenter, 2 brothers, Clarence Barton, Jr., Johnny Barton and 7 grandchildren. Arrangements entrusted to Richardson Funeral Home of Clinton 11816 Jackson Street, Clinton, LA.
