I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith 2 Timothy 4:7. Dorothy passed away on August 1, 2017 at the Crossing at Clarity Hospice after a valiant fight with Alzheimer's disease for many years at the age of 91. Dorothy is survived by four children, a daughter, Antoinette Brown (Arthur) and three sons, Herman (Cheryl), Harrell (Loretta) and Warren Brandon (Gloria), her caregivers, sixteen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was born September 19, 1925 to John H. and Elizabeth Miller Baker in Irene, Louisiana. She is preceded in death by one daughter, Cynthia and her parents, John H. and Elizabeth Miller Baker, and three brothers, Harrison, David and John Baker. Visitation will be Friday, August 11, 2017 at 9 am until religious services at 11:00 am at Redemption Life Fellowship 2400 Debra Drive Baker, LA. Pastor Larry N. Alexander officiating. Arrangements entrusted to Richardson Funeral Home at 9742 Plank Road, Clinton, LA., Interment at Southern Memorial Garden.
