Jimmie Dee “JJ” Jarrell

A native of Norwood and resident of Wilson departed this life on Tuesdayy, December 19, 2017, at his sister’s home at 3:30P.M.  He was 68. Jimmie was a Vietnam Veteran of the US Army and a retired truck driver.  Visiting will be Saturday, December 30, 2017 from 9 A.M. until Celebration of Life Service 11 A.M.  at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church 9147 Hwy 422, Norwood, LA 70761.  Bishop George Veal, Officiating. Interment in church cemetery.

He is survived by four sisters, Opal Thomas, Delma Burton, Catherine Valdry, Linda Washington, three brothers, Carl Jarrell, Robert Jarrell, Donald Jarrell, Sr., nieces, nephews, family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Emmanuel and Rubye Jarrell, sister Sandra J. Wheelock, and brother Slyvester Jarrell.
