Luther C. “ Bill” Winters

A native of McCool, MS and resident of Baton Rouge, LA passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at Baton Rouge General Butterfly Wing. He was 76. He was a retired truck driver for Falco Lime.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 6, 2018 from 11am until Funeral Service at 1pm at Richardson Funeral Home of Clinton 11816 Jackson Street Clinton, LA 70722. Elder Emmerson Jackson Sr, Officiating. Interment will be in Hickory Nut Cemetery Clinton, LA .

He is survived by 1 daughters, LorraineWinters Wilson (Leon) of Clinton 1 son-in-law, Melvin Smothers; 1 sisters, Bennie Jean Davis; 3 brothers,W.B. Winter, Michael Walker, Sr. James Spears, Sr. (Pearline); 10 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.

He is prececded in death by his parents, wife, Gennie Mae Moses Winters; children, Mary Winters, Joyce Smothers and Luther Lionel Winters.
