Obituary of Clarence Alexander
A native of Slaughter and a Resident of Zachary, LA departed this life Saturday, June 9, 2018 at Our Lady of the Lake Medical Center. He was 70. He retired from Tembec and was currently employed with All Star Chevrolet. Visitation will be Saturday, June 16th from 9am until Funeral Service at 11am at Strangers Home Baptist Church 8525 Lemon Road Slaughter, LA 70777. Dr. Thomas H. Lewis, Jr., Officiating. Interment in the Church Cemetery. He is survived by his Wife Joyce T. Alexander; One Daughter Lisa Stone; One Son Rodaren Alexander, Sr; Three Sisters Jessie (Robert) Hamilton, Daisy(Dr. Olton) Scott, Doris (Ronnie) Teasette; Two Brothers Frank (Juanita) Alexander, Louis (Sharie) Alexander; Four Sisters In Law Deloris Smith, Bythella Alexander, Gail Alexander, Zoria Franklin; Three Brothers In Law James (Stacy) Smith, Rev. Melvin (Jeannette) Alexander, Freddie Smith; Seven Grandchildren; Two Great Grandchildren; Two God-Children and opened his home to many others, he is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by One Son Rodney Alexander, Parents, Paternal and Maternal Grandparents, Mother and Father In Law, Two Brothers and Two Sisters.
