Brother Herbert Kelly was born May 2, 1926 to the union of the late Ike and Amy Kelly in Pride, LA. On November 17, 2018 at 4:08 p.m., God called another one of his angels home at his residence in Pride, La.

Brother Kelly accepted Christ and was baptized at the New Hope Baptist church by Dr. James M. Turner in 2011. He was united in holy matrimony to Ella D. Robinson and to this union seven children were born. They were married 62 years until she passed in 2008.

Brother Kelly leaves to cherish his loving memories two daughters: Arlean Rosemary Reed of Baton Rouge, LA and Ruby (Thomas) Drummond of Baywood, LA; a daughter-in-law, Thelma Kelly of Clinton, LA; one sister- in- law, Caretha Robinson of Blairstown, LA 14 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 19 great-great grandchildren. A devoted newphew, George Robinson of Zachary, LA. A close friend, just like a brother, Mr. James Floyd Davis of Baton Rouge, LA.

He is preceded in death by his wife, four sons, five brothers, and three sisters, two daughters- in-law and other relatives.
