Alberder Smith was called home Thursday, January 31, 2019, in Baton Rouge, LA. She was 65. Visitation will be 6-8pm Tuesday, February 5th at Richardson Funeral Home of Clinton 11816 Jackson Street Clinton, LA 70722. Visitation will be from 11AM until  Celebration of Life at 12Noon Wednesday, February 6th at Nathaniel Baptist Church 5032 Hwy 33 S, Centreville, MS. Pastor Robert Scott, Officiating. Interment will be in Beech Grove Baptist Church Cemetery 13305 LA Hwy 967 St. Francisville, LA.

She is survived by her beloved and devoted son Daron Prescott (Sheryl) Brown; four sisters Shirley Brown, Jackson, LA; Lorraine Carter, Baton Rouge, LA; Lucinda Brown, St. Francisville, LA; Rose Mae Johnson, Woodville, MS; three brothers Clarence Brown, John Brown, Jr., both of Woodville, MS; Carter Brown, Jackson, MS; three Grandchildren Jalyn Janae Brown, Lauryn DeAn’cia Marshel Lathan, and Christian Shelby Lollis.
