Roy Jacob Vicknair, Jr. "Jake" of Central, Louisiana went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 22, 2022. Jake was a hard worker who worked construction most of his life and served time in the U.S. Army. Jake's passions were hunting, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren. Jake accepted the Lord into his heart and passed away peacefully in his sleep. He is preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Claudia Vicknair; he is survived by his brothers, Kerry and Dennis Vicknair; sisters, Debra Bell and Jolynn LeBlanc; children, Jeremy Vicknair, Zachary Vicknair, Amy Leasure, and stepdaughter, Terynne Thibodeaux; grandchildren, Nathanael and Tinzlee Ramirez. Visitation will be held at Richardson Funeral Home of Clinton 11816 Jackson Street Clinton, LA on Monday, June 27, 2022, 9:00-10:00AM and burial to follow at 11am at Louisiana National Cemetery 303 W. Mt. Pleasant Rd. Zachary, LA 70791.
