I met Robin at Sear's when she wandered in my department. She was fresh from California and I from New Orleans, working as a salesperson in the mattress dept. We talked for what seem like hours, but, of course I was on the clock, I did not make the sale, but I gained a valuable friend that day.
We exchanged numbers and she told me she live in Clinton, La with her niece.
Time when on and we both was busy, we found time to met for breakfast and walk the mall. I will miss the times we had together talking about everything from plants to politics, oooh!!! please don't get her started on Trump ha! ha! ha!
Robin, if I knew you would be leaving so soon, I would have talked a little longer, go to breakfast more, linger a little longer my friend, I will Miss You, All my Love
Just A Friend

I am saddened by the loss of my dear friend and former colleague. Robin was an exemplary educator, who I was fortunate to meet and work with in The Hayward Unified School District. She work tirelessly for welfare of Special Needs children, as she was quite knowledgeable about the programs, laws and strategies to support their needs. I (We) missed Robin when she retired and relocated to Clinton, Louisiana with her beloved niece and ward, Destiny Adams. I know I express the feelings of many of her friends and colleagues here in California. I extend my deepest sympathy to her family and loved ones... She has gone to Glory... Her earthly labor is done...

I met Robin at the Council on aging. Robin and we got alone as if we were sisters. She was the one that taught me to eat potato salad with gumbo. When we had devotion she would always volunteer to say the prayer. I miss those words of encouragement. Another advice she gave me was "keep encouraging people and if they don't change tolerate them as long as you know you've tried. I'm miss you so much, I miss your text saying good morning, friend. Sleep on and get your rest. I know you were tired, so God took you home from all the trouble down here. I'll see you in the morning when God gather His children together again. Always remember I love you and keep you in my heart, I'll see you in the rapture.
Forever in my heart

Robin especially made an impact upon me with her loving sweet spirit, her smile and hug was genuine. She was a quiet lady. With not much to say until you embraced her warmness. I will greatly miss her presence at Mt. Zion UMC.
