Carolyn D. Vincent, born on July 17, 1954, in Clinton, LA. was the beloved daughter of Huey and Valine Richardson. She peacefully departed on January 1, 2024.

Carolyn accepted Christ at an early age at Mount Hope Baptist Church, in Clinton. She later became a member of Freeman Baptist Church, in Ethel, LA under the leadership of Reverend Joseph G. Richardson, where she served in the choir.

She was graduate of Clinton High School, the class of 1972. Carolyn embarked on her academic journey at Southern University and subsequently worked as a Paraprofessional in the East Feliciana Parish School system. A compassionate soul, she also served as a volunteer paramedic and held a former position at Crown Zellerbach. Carolyn relocated to Lake Charles, married, and her family eventually moved to San Diego, CA, where she was employed at Chart. After several fulfilling years on the West Coast, they returned to Louisiana.

Carolyn D. Vincent, a cherished daughter, loving sister, caring aunt, kind sister-in-law, giving cousin, and dear friend. She is survived by her brother, Michael Richardson (Cynthia), nephew, Michael S. Richardson, Jr and host of family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and a nephew, Christopher Richardson.
