David Carl Travis, 80, was born March 6, 1944 in Port Arthur, TX. He went to be with our Lord March 6, 2024 2:25 PM at his home in Norwood, LA in the company of his beloved family.
He is proceeded in death by his father Carl Victor Travis I, mother Ruby Alice Phillips Marshall, his devoted wife of 58 years Betty Jo Moss Travis, son Carl Victor Travis II, granddaughter Zayleigh Ann Perdue and two sisters Thelma Ann Travis and Vickie Travis.
He is survived by his brother Benny L. Travis, wife Carolyn. His children, two daughters Anita C. Gregoire, husband Marc and Sharon G. Perdue, partner Kevin, two sons David E. Travis (Goober) and William B. Perdue (Dooder), wife Stephanie. His grandchildren Bethanie Redmond, husband Robert, Joseph Gregoire, wife Kelli, Cory V. Travis, wife Haley, Matthew R. Travis, wife Katelyn, Tiffany N. Travis, Braxlynn Perdue and Jozi Perdue. He also leaves behind 11 great-grandchildren and multiple nieces and nephews.
By his request he will be cremated, ceremony arrangements and date are to be determined.
