Today we were informed of Otis and his entering of the
mighty Kingdom. Otis represented our choir robe company,Thomas Creative Apparel located in Ohio, for many years. To us, he was a gentle man, thoughtful of all others and most important a man of God. We will miss his kind voice and his service to us here on earth. He now serves our Lord and Savior & he is preparing his heavenly choir that we too will join someday.
To the family of Otis, we will pray for you and this great
loss and we thank you for sharing him with us.
God Be with you,
Kathy Heileman (Thomas Robes sales representative)
&

To: The Williams Family
It grieved our hearts when the news of Otis' passing reached us.
I met Otis.more than 20 years ago while singing with the St. Mark M.B.C. youth choir of Ethel, La. Otis taught us to sing with all we were blessed with. He taught us "our parts." Of the many songs he taught, the majority would fall under the heading "Old School." SOMEBODY TOUCHED ME" is one that sticks with me. Otis assigned me the lead part to "I HAVE A HOME OVER THE MOUNTAIN AND I MUST GET THERE ON TIME."
Otis touched not only my life but the lives of countless men and women as well as children as he served the position of minister of music at St. Mark. Memories - precious memories of him will forever linger in our hearts.
Sleep on Otis and take your rest. We all loved you but God loved you best.
Forever in our hearts,
Rev. Dr. Thomas H. Lewis, Jr.
